Responsible for the proper set-up and optimization of our customer’s tools in order to insure the best quality and cycle times

Qualifications

• Two years technical degree in related field or equivalent experience.

• Three years experience operating/ setting up injection molding equipment.

• ability to set up and operate assigned equipment.

• Understands and processes knowledge of molding processing parameters and definitions of set-up sheets in molding machine operation and/or mold start-up.

• Performs initial set-up of new products and sample runs.

• Knowledge of tooling with core pulls sequences, lifters, cams, etc.

• Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Spreadsheets and Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and maintain production of injection molding machines

• Troubleshoot the manufacturing process to diagnose and resolve anticipated or actual manufacturing problems that may affect product quality.

• Work closely with Tooling Engineer to resolve tooling issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

12 hour shift, rotating schedule.

Pay depends on experience.
