Cooks and Dishwashers

JOB DESCRIPTION

1st shift 6am-2:30pm

Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets

o Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
o Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
o Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
o Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
o Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
o Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
o Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
o Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
o Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
o Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
o Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
o Ensures security of company assets
